The board of directors of Guinea Alumina Corporation S.A. (GAC) today announced the appointment of Malick NDiaye as the companys Director General.

Kamsar, Wednesday, 28 April 2021— The board of directors of Guinea Alumina Corporation S.A. (GAC) today announced the appointment of Malick N’Diaye as the company’s Director General.

In his new role, Mr N’Diaye will be responsible for Human Capital, Security of Operations, and for building and maintaining trust and understanding with key stakeholders, from local communities, to business partners and government authorities.

Malick N’Diaye joined Guinea Alumina Corporation S.A. (GAC) in 2014 as Chief Financial Officer and was promoted to Deputy General Manager and Government Relations Director in August 2019. He has over 19 years’ experience in finance, accounting, auditing and consulting as well as treasury and fiscal management in the Republic of Guinea, the United Kingdom and the Republic of the Congo. He has held various senior positions with Ernst & Young and has also worked for two major mining companies, Rio Tinto and Xstrata Glencore.

After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from the School of Advanced International and Political Studies in France, Mr. N’Diaye obtained a master’s degree in Finance & Capital Markets from the INSEEC business School of Business & Economics in Paris, and has attended an Executive Management course offered by the European Institute of Business Administration (INSEAD),, one of the world’s leading and largest graduate business schools, as well as at the Niagara Institute, in Canada.
