Guinea Alumina Corporation is the bauxite mining subsidiary of Emirates Global Aluminium, the world’s largest ‘premium aluminium’ producer. We mine and move bauxite, the ore from which aluminium is derived.

Incident in the region of Boke
Guinea Alumina Corporation (GAC) regrets to announce that a small group of people in the city of Boké has disrupted its operations during the night of 28-29 July 2017.
GAC was not directly targeted by these individuals since the group demanded the release of their relatives, who were arrested during previous demonstrations in Boké that was not related to society.
Finally, GAC confirms that the safety of GAC employees was assured during this event and that the trucks of its subcontractor only suffered minimal damage.
