Hendrik Jan Gijsbert Horden joined GAC in September 2021 as Senior Manager, Human Capital.
Mr. Horden has a long experience in human resource development and capacity building in the mining sector. He has worked as Human Capital Manager for Mutanda Mining Sarl in the Democratic Republic of Congo and held the position of Resource Optimization Manager at Mauritanian Copper Mines SA where he implemented the process of nationalization of the workforce. Mr. Horden has also worked in Finland for FQM Kevitsa Mining Oy and in Libya as HR Project Manager for the Libyan Cement Manufacturing Joint-Venture Company.
Mr. Horden holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Applied Sciences in Utrecht, The Netherlands and speaks several languages including Dutch, English, German and French.
