Guinea Alumina Corporation is the bauxite mining subsidiary of Emirates Global Aluminium, the world’s largest ‘premium aluminium’ producer. We mine and move bauxite, the ore from which aluminium is derived.

GAC: resumption of activities
The Guinea Alumina Corporation (GAC) announced this morning the resumption of operations in the Kamsar region.
Indeed, following the demonstrations that took place in the city of Kamsar, the company decided, in order to guarantee the safety of its employees, its subcontractors, and the communities, to temporarily suspend its activities on the sites of the zone concerned.
GAC did not receive any damage to its sites and the staff was safe during the event.
